1. Who We Are
Craftific.com ("we", "our", "the Service") is a web-based platform for Etsy sellers and digital product creators to generate templates, optimise listings, and analyse market data. Accessible at https://craftific.com. Contact: contactus@craftific.com.
2. Information We Collect

3. How API Requests Work
Craftific.com routes AI and Etsy API requests through our own secure server-side infrastructure. This means:
- Access credentials for third-party integrations are stored as encrypted secrets on our servers — they are never sent to your browser or stored on your device.
- When you request an AI generation or Etsy market data lookup, your browser sends the request to our servers, which authenticate and forward it to the relevant third-party provider on your behalf, then return the result to you.
- Our infrastructure provider may retain limited technical logs (such as request metadata) for security, abuse prevention, and debugging purposes. We do not use request content for any purpose beyond fulfilling your request.
If Etsy OAuth is connected (to access your own shop data), your Etsy access token is stored securely and used only to fulfil requests you initiate — it is never exposed to your browser.
4. Etsy Integration
When you connect your Etsy shop to Craftific.com:
- You are redirected to Etsy's official OAuth consent page, where you approve specific permissions.
- Etsy returns an authorisation code to our servers, which exchange it for an access token.
- The access token is stored securely and encrypted at rest.
- Craftific.com requests only the minimum permissions needed to provide its features. See the Connect Etsy page for the exact list of permissions requested.
- You can revoke access at any time via Etsy's Account Security page or by disconnecting within Craftific.com's Settings.

5. Authentication
Craftific.com uses a trusted third-party authentication provider to manage sign-in. When you sign in with Google:
- Your Google account email address and display name are stored to create your Craftific.com account.
- Session tokens are stored to keep you signed in.
- Account data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
6. Analytics
Craftific.com uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised site usage data, including:
- Pages visited and time spent on each page
- Browser type, operating system, and device category
- Geographic region (country/city level, derived from anonymised IP)
- Referring source (how you arrived at Craftific.com)
IP addresses are anonymised before being sent to Google. We do not send any personally identifiable information to GA4. GA4 uses cookies to track sessions. You can opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

7. Cookies
Craftific.com uses the following cookies:
- Authentication cookies — session management. Expire on sign-out or after a period of inactivity.
- Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_XXXXXXX) — anonymised analytics. Expire after 2 years. Set by Google's analytics script.
We do not use advertising, marketing, or tracking cookies beyond the above.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the trusted service providers necessary to operate the Service — such as authentication, analytics, and hosting providers — and only to the extent necessary to provide the Service. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
9. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account. To request deletion, email contactus@craftific.com.
- Analytics data: Retained for up to 14 months per standard analytics provider retention settings.
- Etsy access tokens: Retained until you disconnect your Etsy account or revoke access via Etsy.
- Generated content stored in your browser: Cleared when you clear your browser data. We do not retain copies on our servers.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email contactus@craftific.com. We will respond within 30 days.
11. Children's Privacy
Craftific.com is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us immediately.
12. Security
We implement reasonable security measures, including HTTPS on all pages, encrypted storage of authentication tokens and access credentials, and no storage of sensitive credentials in browser-accessible locations. No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects changes. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of Craftific.com after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
